A man who used to work as a cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion has filed a harassment lawsuit in a California court against the hip-hop superstar, alleging that her conduct created a hostile work environment.

According to media sources, the complaint from Emilio Garcia says Megan’s “conduct created a hostile work environment for Plaintiff, making the conditions of his employment intolerable in direct contravention of various statutes and state law decisions.”

Garcia, who claims that he started working full-time with the artist in September 2019, says he was told “unexpectedly” in June 2023 that “his services would no longer be required by [Megan Thee Stallion].”

In the complaint, Garcia claims that the rapper’s violations of the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) began in June 2022 while he was on tour with the musician in Ibiza, Spain. Garcia alleges that he was in an SUV with Megan and three other women when the rapper “and one of the other women start having sex right beside [him].” Garcia says that the incident left him “embarrassed, mortified and offended throughout the whole ordeal.”

The lawsuit says that Megan told Garcia to not discuss the incident and made “fat-shaming comments” toward him. Garcia also claims that he “noticed a change in how he was treated and saw a decrease in the number of bookings he received from [Megan Thee Stallion].”

The cameraman has also alleged that he was not compensated properly for his work and was denied overtime payment and proper meal and rest breaks.
